THE ATELIER

Hidden in the heart of the Marrakech Medina, the Hanout atelier is where every piece begins — quietly, patiently, by hand.

It is a modern riad filled with light, fabric, and the steady rhythm of work.A place where Moroccan craft meets contemporary design, and where clothes are shaped slowly, with intention.

Here, patterns are refined on real bodies. Fabrics are chosen for their structure, movement, and memory.

Every fold, pleat, and line is tested until it becomes part of the Hanout silhouette.

The atelier is a small community of artisans who have worked together for years — cutters, pleaters, finishers, pattern makers.

Their gestures are precise but generous; their knowledge deep; their instinct attuned to the house’s quiet language of structure and tenderness.

We work in small batches.

We cut only what we believe in.

We keep production close, so every piece remains honest, human, and traceable.

Some of the elements that define our work:

hand-pleated panels

small-batch printing developed in Marrakech

refined prototypes shaped directly on the body

architectural seams designed for movement

fabrics chosen for longevity, not trend

This is not mass production.

It is a living atelier — a space where skill, conversation, intuition, and slowness create clothing meant to endure.

The atmosphere is simple and warm: rolls of cottons and silks stacked like color notes, early-morning light across the cutting table, the sound of scissors, a sketch pinned to the wall, a garment finding its final balance.

Inside this atelier, every piece begins with the same intention:

to support a woman’s life with clarity, comfort, and quiet strength.

This is how Hanout comes to life — crafted in Marrakech, shaped by hand, guided by intention.
